Santa Monica School, is a private educational institution that aims to train competent citizens for future societies, taking into consideration that people are integral beings who must face various experiences throughout their lives, including the constant social, cultural and economic change, being an institution 100% inclusive, diverse and committed to equity, based on the 4c’s of the XXI Century

The Lumen Foundation is a non-profit institute that designs, plans, and executes intervention projects with social impact, in order to improve the quality of life of individuals in any community.

We Do Believe that children, and young men and women, should be given the same opportunities, including those with special needs.

We Are Focused on social impact because we have seen first-hand that young children overcome any difficulty that comes their way when they feel supported, and we have faith in our approach of equal treatment.

We Are Empowering young people to live connected to their families, friends, peers, and the environment. Our education process is comprised of meaningful learning on academic as well as personal, social and spiritual levels.

The scholarship consists of $390 per student for 11 months of tuition, equivalent to $4,290 per year. Sponsors receive quarterly reports to see how students are growing and transforming through their sponsorship.

The LUMEN Foundation and Santa Mónica School will use 100% of the donation in the formation of the candidates, thus guaranteeing fair and equal use of resources for each student.

Transparent Sponsorship:

You will receive: Videos, photographs, reports of grades and experiences that the students are living, which will guarantee the training and use of resources.

Lumen WeDoBelieve and Santa Monica School of Innovation have developed a scholarship plan that gives children and youth access to an innovative, impactful, inclusive and fun educational program.

This initiative provides them with the opportunity to be co-creators, innovators, entrepreneurs and analytical thinkers; simultaneously, our students are taught to be respectful, grateful and happy. This holistic education, which aims to help children and youth become great human beings, impacts the community in which they develop, beginning with their household.

By 2022, the goal is to give 20 students with leadership, academic and attitudinal promise, who have low or no resources at all (historically the strongest condition of desertion), the opportunity to be a part of Santa Monica School.

The plan seeks not only to save these students from being left without a high-quality education, but to help families who cannot bear the financial responsibility to help them get ahead. This will directly benefit communities and neighborhoods in need of greater opportunities. In the long-term as well as bigger panorama, it directly influences the future of a nation, yearning for this kind of professional citizen.

Starting with skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics elementary to generate value in the digital economy. We believe in teaching to learn and developing the necessary aptitudes to maximize our potential.

Mindfulness

Being in the moment, with a full, concentrated and focused mind; strengthening mind, body and soul. Pursuing mindfulness through each class will lead us to an immense growth of character. Not everything is going to be pure joy, in every process of growth there´s discomfort and this will help students to develop skills to front any circumstance.

Entrepreneurship

Developing skills for entrepreneurship in life, not only in business, but in all aspects of their environment and coexistence. Our intention with the enforcement of this pillar is that our students grow in creativity, innovation and communication skills.
